History

This property was conserved by a partnership between the Land Trust in 2004 with the help of the Town of Shelburne Natural Resources and Conservation Committee and the Town of Shelburne through the purchase of the property from the Clark family.  It provides important forested habitat for wildlife that rely on the river, as well as providing public access for recreationalists and birdwatchers.

Partners

Shelburne River Park was conserved in partnership with the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, the Town of Shelburne, and the Lake Champlain Land Trust.
