Birch Island is located in Mallets Bay offshore of Colchester, VT. This is a great island for swimming and picnicking. No overnight camping is allowed.

History
The Mallets Bay Club donated a conservation easement to the Land Trust on Birch Island in 1980. There are several rare plants found on this island, and the conservation easement aims to keep the island in its natural state.
