For an Optimal Viewing Experience on a Computer

  • Set the the Video Quality to 4K (2160s) or 5K (2880s) – Note: Requires a moderately fast internet connection. HD Quality (1440s) is suitable for slower internet connections.
  • Use the “Grab and Move Hand” icon to navigate around the scene.  You may also use the directional arrows in the upper left-hand corner of the video (See below).

This project uses immersive panoramic, wrap-around video to bring the outdoors directly to our communities, including audiences who may have limited transportation options, are physically unable to hike or paddle, or who generally do not participate in outdoor recreation. In addition to making the videos available to all online, we will present them using Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets at various community events, including festivals, farmer’s markets, and educational gatherings open to the general public.

* This project was funded wholly or in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under assistance agreement (LC00A00605) to NEIWPCC in partnership with the Lake Champlain Basin Program. Photography by Vince Franke (Peregrine Productions).
