North Hero State Park

North Hero State Park was established in 1963.  The park is a floodplain forest that is subject to seasonal water inundation.  This park is open for swimming and boating.

From the South: Take I-87 N and take Exit 17 toward the Lake Champlain Islands.  Follow US Route 2 W to North Hero.  Stay straight to continue on Lakeview Dr and follow this for about 3.5 miles.  The entrance to the park will be on your left.

From the North: Take US Route 2 E.  After crossing the bridge between Alburgh and North Hero, take the immediate left onto Bridge Rd.  Take the second right to remain on Bridge Rd.  At the end of the road, take a left onto Lakeview Dr and follow this for about 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to the park on your right.
