Knight Point State Park

Knight Point State Park opened in 1978.  The rocky shoreline is the largest undisturbed area of this natural community on Lake Champlain and houses several rare plant species.  There is a short walking trail that leads out to the point, as well as a swimming beach and boat rental.  The park also houses the Island Center for Arts and Recreation.

From the South: Take I-87 N and take Exit 17 for the Lake Champlain Islands.  Follow US Route 2 W over the drawbridge toward North Hero.  After crossing the drawbridge, the entrance to the park will be on your left.

From the North: Take US Route 2 E.  The entrance to the park will be on your right before you cross the drawbridge.
