Grand Isle State Park became a state park in 1959 when land was purchased from the private summer resort, Birchcliff. Today, the state park is a popular campground and a is great place to go boating, fishing, and swimming.
Directions
From the South: Take I-89 N and take Exit 17 toward the Lake Champlain Islands. Follow US Route 2 W through South Hero. Take a right on State Park Rd.
From the North: Take US Route 2 E. Before entering South Hero, take a left on State Park Rd.
