  Algonquin Ridge Natural Area - Algonquin Ridge Natural Area, Milton, is a private conservation easement protecting over 800 feet of Lake Champlain and cliffside wildlife habitat near Eagle Mountain Natural Area. Donated in 2004.  
  Birch Island - Birch Island, Colchester, a private conservation easement protecting the entire island in Malletts Bay. Public access. Conserved in 1980.  
  Blue Ledge Natural Area - Blue Ledge Natural Area, Orwell, is a private conservation easement protecting 5 rare natural communities and over 8 rare plant species. Donated in 2004.  
  Buckstrfarm - Buckstrfarm is a private 140+ acre conservation easement in Grand Isle serving as a model agricultural and sugar maple operation on conserved land. Donated in 1999.  
  Carleton's Prize Island - Carleton's Prize Island, off the tip of South Hero, was the first land donated to the Lake Champlain Land Trust in 1978. Named after the British General who thought the island was an American ship during a foggy day in 1776.
  Eagle Mountain - Eagle Mountain Natural Area, Milton, is a 225 acre wildlife reserve with hiking trails, overlooks of Lake Champlain, and numerous fields for cross-country skiing. Conserved in 1998. Guide Sheet  
  Fisk Quarry - Fisk Quarry, Isle La Motte, an outdoor museum containing world renowned, 480,000,000 year-old fossils.  Conserved in 1998. Guide Sheet.  
  Four Brothers Islands - Assisted TNC in the acquisition of Four Brother Islands, four of the most important wildife habitat islands on the New York side of Lake Champlain. Conserved in 1981.  
  Anonymous - Anonymous conservation easement on forested Lake Champlain shoreline on west side of Shelburne Point. Donated in 1999.  
  Goodsell Ridge - Goodsell Ridge in Isle La Motte is a unique fossil preserve and outdoor museum, featuring world renowned 480 million year old fossils. More Info  
  Gramma's Island - Gramma's Island, North Hero, occasionally serves as habitat for rare Common Tern nesting habitat. Donated in 1997.  
  Woods Island - Facilitated the negotiations and funding for the purchaseof Woods Island by the State of Vermont. Wildlife habitat and primitive camping sites. Conserved in 1985.  
  Howes-Fefee Life Estate - Generous Howes-Fefee donation of North Hero lakeside home and land with reserved life estate will benefit future Lake Champlain projects. Donated in 2000.
  Keeler Bay - Undeveloped shorelands, agricultural fields and forested wetlands of Keeler Bay project in South Hero stablized rapidly growing area in South Hero. Donated in 2001.  
  Knight Island - Conserved the 175 acre Knight Island State Park in North Hero so that all Vermonters can enjoy camping along the lakeshore in the middle of Lake Champlain. Conserved with partners in 1990. Guide Sheet  
  The Stoneledge Natural Area - The Stoneledge Natural Area, Charlotte and Ferrisburgh, a private 30 acre conservation easement protecting over 1,800 feet of Lake Champlain. 3 rare natural communities and 4 rare plants. Conserved in 2002.  
  Law Island - Paddle or walk across a shallow bay from the bike path to the Law Island State Park in Colchester. The Lake Champlain Land Trust conserved this 8.5 acre forested island in 1994. Guide Sheet  
  Charlotte Bluffs - The Charlotte Bluffs is a private 26 acre conservation easement protecting over 1,660 feet of undeveloped Lake Champlain shoreline. Donated in 1981.  
  Lower Otter Creek WMA addition - The Lower Otter Creek Wildlife Management Area expansion in Ferrisburgh added permanent access to the banks of the Lower Otter Creek. Donated in 2001.
  Malletts Creek Marsh - Malletts Creek Marsh, Colchester, protects critical fish spawning habitat and essential wetlands buffer at mouth of Malletts Creek in Lake Champlain. Donated in 1997.  
  Marble Island - The Lake Champlain Land Trust still owns Marble Island, a 3 acre island with a canoe landing and picnic site. Donated in 1985.  
  Mayes Landing - Mayes Landing Park, Burlington, is the best picnic area on the Burlington Bike Path, located at the confluence of the Winooski River and Lake Champlain. Conserved in 2000. Guide Sheet  
  Mill River Falls Natural Area - The Mill River Falls Natural Area, Georgia, features permanent fishing and hunting access to Mill River frontage and a scenic waterfall, in addition to some of the top waterfowl habitat in St. Albans Bay. Donated in 2003. Guide Sheet  
  Mud Island - Facilitated the donation of Mud Island from Lake Champlain Land Trust supporter to the State of Vermont. Panton. Donated in 1994.  
  Rock Island Panton - Rock Island is a highly visible forested island off the shores of Panton rewarding the canoeist or kayaker with an excellent picnic location. Conserved in 1998. Guide Sheet  
  Hyde Point Project - Assisted another group in co-holding conservation easement on the private Hyde Point property in Grand Isle. Donated in 2000.  
  Niquette Bay State Park expansion - Niquette Bay State Park expansion, Colchester, now includes over 500 acres of the largest protected natural area in Chittenden County. Guide Sheet
  Shelburne Bluffs - The Shelburne Bluffs is a private conservation easement protecting over 2,000 feet of Lake Champlain shoreline and scenic viewsheds for boaters. Donated in 1982.  

 

Porter Natural Area - The Porter Natural Area is an important wetland complex buffering both Lake Champlain and the Colchester Bog. Donated in 1995.  
  Rock Island Georgia - The Rock Island in Georgia remains one of the top two rare bird sanctuaries and island habitats in Lake Champlain and is key to the ongoing recovery of the state endangered Common Tern. Conserved in 1999.  
  Rock Island State Park Colchester (aka Beer Can Island) - Rock Island, Colchester, is an undeveloped island in Malletts Bay and is part of the Niquette Bay State Park. Donated in 1997.  
  Rossetti Natural Area - Rossetti Natural Area is one of the top natural areas in Colchester and includes over 1,400 feet of sand beach. Conserved in 1997. Guide Sheet  
  Round Pond Natural Area - Round Pond Natural Area, South Hero, protects one of the top wetland priorities in the entire Lake Champlain region as well as insuring permanent public access to hiking, snowshoeing, fishing, and hunting opportunities. Conserved with partners SHLT, VLT, & TNC in 2001. Guide Sheet
  Round Pond Natural Area (Apple Island Resort) - Privately held portion of Round Pond Natural Area provides additonal habitat protection and recreation opportunties. Donated in 2002.  
  Shelburne Farms (Shelburne Farms Non-Profit) - Protected several miles of critical viewsheds and forested shoreline areas within the historic and world renowned Shelburne Farms environmental educational center. Donated in 1982.  
  Shelburne River Park - The Shelburne River Park is a kayak and canoe access area on the LaPlatte River less than one mile from Lake Champlain's Shelburne Bay. Conserved in 2004. More Info  
  Split Rock Mountain Wild Forest - Conserved, in partnership with OSI, the 2,255 acre Split Rock Mountain Wild Forest, saving over 2 miles of undeveloped Lake Champlain shoreline. Conserved in 1993. Guide Sheet  
  Town of Plattsburgh (Gettman) Rabideau Neighborhood Park expansion - Rabideau Neighborhood Park is a newly expanded neighborhood park with ballfields, wetlands, and hiking trails owned by the Town of Plattsburgh, New York. Conserved in 2003.  
  Upper Fish Bladder Island - Upper Fish Bladder Island is an important bird habitat and possible Common Tern nesting habitat island in South Hero. Donated in 1998.
  South Hero Vernal Pools Property - The South Hero vernal pool project is a privately held forest reserve and equastrian area with a conservation easement preventing future development. Donated in 1999.
